Kasiano set to miss Manly clash

Kasiano set to miss Manly clash
In-form Canterbury prop Sam Kasiano will miss the NRL grudge match of the year against Manly unless he can successfully defend a grade two careless high tackle charge at the judiciary.
Kasiano faces a one-match suspension for his high shot on Parramatta's Fuifui Moimoi in the opening tackle of Friday night's match.
A badly concussed Moimoi played no further part in the game, prompting calls from Eels coach Stephen Kearney for the introduction of an 18th man to cover for players lost to foul play.
The Dogs have until noon Tuesday to enter a plea on Kasiano's behalf.
Canterbury coach Des Hasler, who faces his former club at Brookvale Oval for the first time, may be tempted to take the case to the judiciary.
But given the ferocity of the hit - even allowing for the fact Moimoi slipped - and publicity surrounding it, the Dogs' chances of success would be slim.
Kasiano has been in terrific form this season, triggering a tug-of-war for his services between New Zealand and Queensland.
His loss would be a huge blow to the Bulldogs' hopes of beating the Sea Eagles for the first time under Hasler.
