Griffin sticks with Broncos

Brisbane Broncos coach Anthony Griffin has agreed to a two-year contract extension, tying him to the NRL club until 2015.
Formerly in charge of the Broncos youth team, Griffin began serving as an assistant to Ivan Henjak in 2010, before replacing him as first-team coach in February 2011.
He led the team to the preliminary final in his first campaign in charge, before losing to eventual premiers Manly.
Brisbane are third on the NRL ladder in 2012, with 11 wins and six defeats from 17 matches played.
"This provides our players, staff, members, supporters and sponsors with certainty about Anthony's commitment to the club and our commitment to him," Broncos chief executive Paul White said.
"As a club and a business, one of our key aims is to make sure we have the right people in the right job.
"Anthony has shown he is a very talented coach and man manager at the NRL level and we have been impressed with his contribution not only to the team as a coach, but to the club as a whole.
"One of his greatest qualities is his ability to distance himself from short-term decision making and put the long-term goals of the club at the forefront of his process.
"He has stood by those bold decisions and made them work, and in doing so he has provided a safe and stable environment for everyone here at the club."
The Broncos take on the Gold Coast Titans at Skilled Stadium on Friday.
